Trying Out Their Luck

Tiktok, Tik Tok, App, Smartphone, Iphone

After rebranding Twitch Prime to Prime Gaming a few years ago, Amazon cemented their position in the gaming industry. TikTok appears to be next in line, according to recent allegations that the social media giant is planning to release games.

Ongoing Tests

Tiktok, App, Smartphone, Application

TikTok has been testing games within the video-sharing social media app in Vietnam, according to four unnamed sources. Before the end of the year, TikTok may expand the test across Southeast Asia.

It’s unclear whether the tests will be expanded globally, but TikTok’s latest step isn’t surprising. According to reports, TikTok has over one billion subscribers, so it’s understandable that a sizable number of them would be interested in gaming.
