After Elon Musk Buys Out Twitter, Celebrities are Quitting the Platform Left and Right

As a result of Elon Musk assuming control of Twitter, celebrities are voicing their opinions and deleting their accounts. Elon Musk has officially seized control of the social networking site after vacillating between purchasing it and not, and he has since made the “most expensive joke in history.”

Additional Drama

Despite at one point declaring he would be backing out of the agreement and seeing a lawsuit brought against him by the social networking site, the CEO of Tesla purchased Twitter for under $44 billion. Many celebrities appear to have decided that enough is enough with the drama and that it is time to quit the public eye.

Power Moves

Despite Musk’s apparent hesitance to buy Twitter, he has been quicker to move after he has seized control of the social media network. Although Musk insists, he had nothing to do with it, Kanye West’s Twitter account has been reinstated and the CEO of SpaceX has reportedly already sacked top company personnel.

In any case, a large number of famous Twitter users have had enough and have chosen to stop using the service. And with that, it would be up to Musk himself to come up with some sort of strategy to change up the outcome of his takeover of the company.
